Bexley GPs have gained both local and national recognition for tackling the challenge of redefining clinical services head-on.
Our GPs are working hip to hip with other health care staff and GP practice managers to collectively drive forward improvements to Bexley's health services.
The key to this success has been a consistent message that working together is important. Relationships have been the key between local clinicians and patients outside of the traditional doctor – patient roles.
Alongside this, we are beginning to work with local nurses and pharmacists to encourage successful networks to deliver the healthcare experience that all Bexley residents deserve.
Bexley Care Trust‘s Clinical Executive Committee and Clinical Cabinet drive this work forward and ensure Bexley maintains a high quality primary care service.
Our Professional Executive Committee monitors the quality of any local
changes and the senior management team work alongside the clinical
groups mentioned above to make sure we deliver real change on the ground.
This is the future of healthcare in Bexley. We have laid the foundations of successful and collaborative teamwork which will stand us on a firm footing for the challenges that lay ahead.
