Pandemic Flu Information
With the number of people catching swine flu on the increase and expected to peak in the UK during the colder winter months, it is important that we all do what we can to reduce the risk of catching or spreading the virus.
If you have flu symptoms - including high temperature, cough, runny nose, headache, sore throat, aches, unusual tiredness and chills - and are concerned that you may have contracted swine flu, it is recommended that you:
• Stay at home
• Do not go to your GP or A&E
• Use the online assessment tool at www.direct.gov.uk/pandemicflu to check you condition
• Or, call the National Pandemic Flu Service treatment line on 0800 1 513 100 between 8am and midnight.
